PC2 now the f.I. light flashes once

    I don't know if the fifth gen flashes error codes the way a sixth gen does, but with the old pc2 from the previous owner had, I get a repeating single flash, followed by a pause, then a single flash again, etc...

    Ideas? I need to try a different USB to serial cable, the one I have didn't work. I can't talk to the pc with my laptop.

    Yes the 5th gen uses the same morse code approach to fault codes. There are long blinks (1.3 sec) and short blinks (0.5 blinks). Just remember that one long blink (1.3 secs) is equivalent to ten short blinks.
