Has anyone successfully made this mod? Contact at Dynojet tells me; "We only "officially" support the Power Commander V on 2009 and later model year bikes. If the newer model year bikes are essentially the same as their predecessor, as in your case, I see no reason the PCV would not retrofit back to earlier years."
Also I am installing a Two Bros. 4 into 1, and I did not see this exhaust listed on the PC III.

    Thanks

I've installed a PCV on my 98 without any issue. In fact, if you have any other PC, I'd switch. Mapping by gear, added fuel by engine temp, and AFR control are about as cool as you can get.

Dynojet does not have a Two Bros map for the PCIII but you can obtain a map from Two Bros directly. By all means, try it. But I can tell you that you're going to save yourself some time if you just get a dyno tune. The Two bros map, as with most downloadables, sucks. I assume you're on a 6 gen so there's no reason a PCV won't work, and if you get the auto-tune feature a dyno won't be required. It is, however, my understanding that a PCV with auto-tune is more expensive than is a PCIII with a fully customized dyno tune.

Best of luck with everything. If the auto-tune does what a dyno tune does, then you should be very happy. It's a shame Honda didn't put VFR's in the showroom already having a proper map. Make sure you are getting o2 eliminators with the PC, you'll need two of them, and enjoy.
