Hello fellow VFR Owners. I recently bought an 02 and have added a few mods. PC III, Remus Exhaust, K&N and O2 Eliminators. The fellow I bought the items from had an 04 and had the bike on the Dyno with all of the above items installed, so I am using that MAP. So far everything is great! I am really loving this bike.

While washing the bike this weekend I got water on the PC III, I wiped it off and seems to be fine. My question is, should I be covering the PC III? I ended up putting a plastic bag over it until I was done washing the bike. Should I have it covered all the time? What are others doing to protect their PC's from water?

    Thanks!

Ya, I saw that info and a few posts on other sites as well. Some of the posters were experiencing problems after their Power Commander got wet. Wanted to know if anyone here has direct experience with this. Would really hate to kill the thing by getting it wet.

I've had the PCII on My '99 for years with no problems from getting it wet. I imagine the PCIII would be the same. Just avoid blasting it directly (which is pretty unlikely anyway ) and you should be fine.
