Just putting out feelers here peeps. If there is enough interest, I will have these made up and sell them at break even cost to you. The 6th Gen Militia patches were $6.50 each shipped via snail mail world wide but I can't do that today. Those were done two or three years ago and I still have about 30 of those kicking around. I was working at the time and had to front $500. I can still front money on the short term, but can't have these sitting around for years to come.

In order to make this reasonable in price, I need to order at least 200. The ball park cost of these without checking with my supplier first, will be about $7.50 each, mailed anywhere that the postal service can go. These will be about 4 1/ inches (11.5 cm) wide by 3 inches (7.6 cm) high. The illustration does not show it well but the whole crest is bordered in gold as well.

So, give me some feed back. How many of you might buy these at a price near what I quoted?

Go here to order yours for $3.65 each:

Slightly different option, larger wing and italics on "INTERCEPTOR" at the top.

Side by side here they are:
    # 1 Eyeball138.jpg # 2 INTERCEPTOR2.jpg and #3 interceptor3.jpg

Guess this one is to be deleted from the Randy files. Not much interest. Should say no interest.

I'm in for a couple of patches but that only puts the count at 498.

I only need another 198 more to order up a run. I think just for the hell of it, I will take a ride into New Westminster to see my contact and get a firm price so I can post up a difinitive price.

I'd be interested in one as well as a 6th gen patch if you still have some available.

Here's the link for the 6th Gen Militai Patches. http://vfrworld.com/forums/general-vfr-discussions/36308-6th-gen-militia-patches-now-here.html

They are $6.50 each, postage paid to your postal address. Send me a PM. What I need:
    1. How Many
    2. Your email address to send a request for funds from Paypal
    3. Your postal address where I can send these.

Soon as Paypal confirms funds have been transferred, I send them in the mail.

Haven't decided yet if I am going to do the Interceptor patch but I will post up a specific thread for just that if U do. I am also leaning towards #2. I have been cleaning it up a bit with a program. Heading into the city to get a quote probably tomorrow. Good an excuse as any to go for a nice ride, burger and a beer with those poor bastards that I used to work with. They still work......

I have no design style - but just curios: What would it look like if the wings were pointed the other way?

Don't know. I suppose you could look at it through your....i mean your wife's make-up mirror? I can always play with that a bit. That should not be too hard a switch.

This is what it looks like when Pliskin is looking at it through his make-up mirror:

I guess, in an ideal world, I would order some of each so that like the flag on your military's uniforms, it is always displayed as if in a forward motion. But unless there is several hundred ording these things, that is not going to happen. Nice thought though Pliskin. I didn't realize you had this sensible side to you!

I looked at all three in comparison and think that # 2 seems to flow better with the way "INTERCEPTOR" and "VFR" are slanted though.

The 6th Gen Militia concept was a local thing started up my NorcalBoy and Jasonsmith several years ago in response to the shit and abuse we leaders with the 6th gen bikes, were getting from the 5th gen ho's. That is where the roll call thread came into being:

    http://vfrworld.com/forums/6th-generation-2002-2009/12400-6th-gen-militia-roll-call.html.

Some how, I got saddled into administering that thread. My sincere appreciative thoughts for that goes out to Scubalong.

From that thread, someone designed the 6th Gen Militia Patch and a very limited number of those were produced. I think it was Drewl who did the initial run. Then I got on board and had a business contact here (before I retired) reproduce that crest and thus the 6th Gen Militia Patches thread was born and 200 of these patches were made up and put up for sale here:

    http://vfrworld.com/forums/general-vfr-discussions/36308-6th-gen-militia-patches-now-here.html

There are still about 30 of those left. Check out the thread if interested in acquiring.

Now this present thread. So you can see, this whole thing is really VFRWorld related. I really don't want to be involved with ebay. Not my thing. If what I have never sells, I really don't care now. Periodically someone pipes up looking for one and I still have them so it does not hurt to have a few lying around.

But thanks for the suggestion anyways.

So the short answer to your suggestion; "NO"

I just got a price quote from an on line source that is much less than the 6th gen militia patches. I mean MUCH LESS. I want to clarify a few things before I go with this. Stay tuned.
