    Hey guys.

When I bought my 09 VFR800A bike 3 years ago, the seller had the passenger pegs and bars off, so it looks sportier (good look in my opinion). However, now that I got my Givi top case mount, it apparently needs to tap into part of the passenger peg bracket.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how the supplied bolts mount up for the rear passenger peg bracket... I have 2 larger hex key bolts (8x25 or 8x35.. not sure which), and 2 smaller ones. The larger bolts don't seem to be long enough to fit through the actual peg mount on either side. It comes up short, thus no way it could even mount to the frame. Did he not include enough bolts perhaps? If not, where's the best place to find replacement bolts of these sizes?

    Thanks guys!

The two longer bolts measure 8 X 50 and the two shorter bolts measure 8 X 32.

They're available at the dealer, here are the Honda part numbers.

Any good hardware store should carry these bolt sizes as well.

    Exactly what I needed. Thanks!

Do you happen to know the size of the smaller 2 bolts for the rear shock adjuster? They thread into the back of it.

    Thanks!

I'm assuming that you're talking about part numbers 13 and 14 in the pic below.

    Bolt number 13 is a 6 X 30 and bolt number 14 is a 6 X 45.

Here are the Honda part numbers.

    Much thanks!

Looks like the included bolts in my Givi top mount case are too short. I have a micron exhaust, and it uses a spacer to separate it from the bike a little bit from stock. Gonna have to go out and hunt for a 8x150 or possibly larger bolt too.

    Sigh..
