    Greetings all,
Just wanted to provide a little feedback on my recent pair valve mod, air filter and starter valve synch of my 04.

    Pair Valve Mod:
    Disconnected solenoid plug
Completely removed the pair valve (very easy to do and cleans up the area)
Capped opening with rubber plugs and hose clamps.

    Air Filter:
    new Emgo air filter

    Starter Valve Synch:
Not sure if I did this exactly right but I managed to get close enough readings on my carb meter.

    Other:
I did not do the flapper mod nor did I do the snorkel removal mod.
However, I read on one post where some had sliced a portion of the snorkel to allow more air in; I did that.

    The Result:
A much smoother bike from 1st gear to 6th.
Seems that there is more power in a single gear; meaning I find myself staying in a gear lower than before.
For example, at 45mph, I would usually be in 4th but I feel (or the bike feels) more comfortable staying in 3rd.

    Concern:
The only concern I have is that the bike idle's around 1100 and 1200 but I can no longer set the idle speed higher; its tapped out.
Did I screw something up major in the Starter Valve synch process?
Not sure if I should be concerned because the bike runs awesome now after these changes.

Anyways, thanks to all members on this site for the great information. I would not have done any of this without your help.
    Dean
