    Hi Guys,

I just upgraded from a 95 VFR to an 04 with hard saddlebags. I got an awesome deal I just couldn't pass up. Thanks for all this info on this site. It really helped when I was researching the VTEC. The VTEC transition doesn't bug me that much but the snatchy throttle response does. I'm planning to do the mod on the pair valve. So my question is, what's the difference between the pair valve block-off and the electrical connection on the pair valve solenoid? It would seem that disconnecting the solenoid would do the same thing.

    Thanks,
    T

dont waste time or money on the block off plates...
just pull the whole assembly out and cap off the air box and the top of each cylinder-head (pair valves).
the engine area will be a lot more neat and tidy w/o that rats nest in there, plus youll drop a few pounds of weight thats up high in the bike.
if you are doing this to remedy the snatchy throttle, you are wasting your time.
just get a pc3 and a good tune.
pc and tune+pair removal+o2 eliminators= makes for an awesome bike!!!
