I appreciate everyone's consideration. I know I've only been on the site a few short months. I really love my VFR and appreciate the help people having given me, but I need to reduce the clutter in the garage. In the words of Crowded House, "my possessions are causing me suspicion" and I have to free up some physical and mental space for my other projects. To pay back the help you've given me, I'll donate 5% of the sale to the site's cost. Peace, love, and vroom.

“Red” is a daily rider. It’s had the following things done to it in the last 6 months:
    • New oil and filter
    • Rebuilt master cylinders for clutch, rear and front brakes
    • New fuel lines
    • New EBC Brake Pads, Double-H Superbike, Sintered Copper
    • New seat cover
    • New air filter and gaskets
    • Rebuilt front forks with new fluid
    • New front and rear sprockets and chain from JT Chains
    • New Grips
    • New fasteners here and there where they were rusted/missing (headlight adjustment and cowl retainers)
    • Repaired fairings with PlastiFix
    • Cleaned and rebuilt the controls on the handlebars
All the parts were ordered from real retailers selling Honda-certified parts (except the chain, sprockets, and brake pads; those were bought from their respective maker’s websites). In other words, there’s no eBay or Amazon or Temu dropship junk on this bike.

    Running video on YouTube:

“Blue” also runs, but it needs work. It’s had some things done to make it rideable: oil change with new filter, air filter, new rear sprocket, etc. It originally came to me “blacked out”, but I’ve been collecting and replacing parts as they become available to get it back to its original blue livery. It does have an oil leak from somewhere above the pan. I can’t tell where it’s coming from without dropping the engine out of the frame. BLUE IS NOT A DAILY RIDER. You can restore it to one, or use it as parts to feed red for many years to come.

I have an extra ’85 tank, a couple extra panels, and two brand new upper and lower cowls from Airtech. I also have a box of parts that can be used for Blue or Red, including more fork seal kits, an entire clutch plate kit, slave clutch rebuild kit, triple clamp/steering cone bearings, and several different clips and fasteners.

    Both bikes have CLEAN TITLES

No it doesn't. I've been thinking about fitting one to it, but they are rare.
