Can I paint over the black powder coat on my 2000 VFR800? Is there any issues with durability, etc? Thanks and ride safe.

I would wash it good with soap and water and scuff it up to adhere good first.

You would have to sand/scuff the surface to be painted of course, otherwise paint would never permanently stick to it...it would end up flaking/peeling off if it did stick at first.

Which part of your bike is powdercoated? I don't believe Honda powdercoats anything on their bikes. Was this something you had powdercoated?
