This is the first forum I've been a part of that includes ads in the reply. The first time I visited I was thinking "Wow, all these folks from Canada" until I realized it was the Google matching my search profile- all right I'm sometimes a bit slow.

I'm curious if anyone ever clicks on one of these. I understand they help support the site and don't mind them but I really wonder how effective this form of advertising is. I know I have never clicked one and I suspect most people don't either.

I have done quite a bit of horse trading here and only burned once. Shipped many items to Canada with no problems but it is best to talk to a known member or a long time member for the trust I think you are asking aboot.

On some other type of forum, I am sure people do click on them. But it is more of a sub-consious type of advertising, much like the stuff on the side of hwy's & Freeways. You may not go there right now but, they hope you will remember their name.

Anyway, I thought the same thing - cool how they search keywords to advertise the correct piece yah know. I never click on them...then again probably cause I do a lot of marketing myself (I know how to search for things I want anyway haha other than searching this site can be challenging sometimes - I'm still "new" which is probably the cause).
