Ive been waiting for a clean one in this particular colour for a while. Its super clean, got a great deal on it too I think.

Ive seen quite a few that have the black fairings on them but very few that are mostly white. My buddy has a limited edition RedBull model, very rare beast.

 

First clue you bought the wrong bike:

 

OMG, aside from the atrocity of the look, you'd have to be super man to "tour" on that.

Although, some reviews I read did say its one of the more adaptable and adjustable super bikes for comfort.

 

I remember reading that too when they first came out.

 

I'll sell you the Givi off of my ST1100. I remember seeing those bikes at the track. Very cool pick up!!

 

I think I hate you a little bit more now, Stray.

It's just jealousy. The RC8 is a seriously cool bike.

RC8 didnt arrive today. The guy had to work so couldn't deliver it (was supposed to rain here and didnt, he's into roofing, so was supposed to be off on a rain day). So im waiting to hear if its coming this long weekend or if im going to pick it up. Its only 30 minutes away so no big deal to me either way.

Stay tuned, fingers crossed this still happens.

Got her home today. She will stay in the lower garage for a while till things dry up here and I can ride her up the grass hill to the upper show room. too wet now, lost of rain, it would just end in tears.


Came with the OEM KTM cover, the OEM lic plate mount & signals, Pillion seat and OEM front & rear reflectors. Owners manuals, all the spare keys etc.

That is very shiny. Everything I buy needs a thorough degrease, water blast and 100 hours of polishing to look half-way decent. Maybe cause I am a tight-ass.

Its a decal as far as I can tell, I'm not sure its a legit part of the RC8 livery, but I have to look into it. It will be coming off if it's not supposed to be there.

I know stoner did ride for KTM but much earlier than 2012, so I doubt its supposed to be there.
