Interesting venue for the showing of the film as a father/son relartionship The Laemmle venue is named for Carl Laemmle 1867-1939, founder of Universal Pictures (Universal International) Many notable films to his credit including "Phantom of the Opera" His son Carl Laemmle 1908-1979 took over the studio and produced films including, "Frankenstein, The Invisible Man, The Mummy and Bride of Frankenstein". It will be interesting to see if Dana Brown follows in Bruce Brown's tire treads. When Bruce first hit the bricks with his first hit "Endless Summer" it was on 16mm film and narrated live by Bruce Brown If Bruce alive and well a sawbuck says he will be at the gig.
Good info BadBilly, I didn't know, thanks. If anyone is in Ventura County and prefers to spend less time going to and fro, Ducati Westlake is going to a screening at the Muvico, https://www.facebook.com/events/795567870500260/
