I read that earlier. I keep seeing people from both sites lurking about. I dig that guy's attitude. I have the same attitude towards ALL bikers when I am in my cage. I am a firm believer in the Golden Rule.

that guy's sticker says some nasty, ignorant things and i'm sure he's proud of it!! Makes him a prime candidate to be an a**hole in my book!

He did something considerate ONE day, but the offensive, insulting sticker is there EVERY day.

    OKC:

I totally agree and people like that deserve recognition.

I had a similar experiance with two different Harley riders.

One on his chopper pointed at some road debris before I was to it and another pulled over when I was on the side of the road, stopped for a break, and offered any help he could. I had a nice chat with him and his ol' lady and away they went.

My hate post was designed to let out some agnst that we all have from time to time and my hope that some posuer may run across the thread and maybe realize what they are doing. Hey its a long shot!

I see you are from the mid-west. I spent some time in Lincoln & Omaha, Nebraska. When i got back, people asked me if it was a bunch of rednecks out their? I said hell no! The nicest people I have ever met where out their, the best music store I have ever been to was their and the food was unbelievable. And everyone had wonderful manners, I said the east coast could learn a thing or too!
You seem like the people I met, friendly and want to get along.

I will close with this: 99% of Harly owners give the rest a bad name:biggrin:

I need some clarification from the Harley lovers and haters:

If I rode my neighbor's Harley, does that make me a Harley rider?

If (not saying this happened) my neighbor gave me a ride to the shoppe to get my bike on his Harley, does that make me a Harley rider?

    Thanks,
    Nozz

well just my 2 cents...i cant' say i hate harley guys, or even dislike them..as far i am concerned they are part of the 2 wheel family. so all is good with me...i think harley -vs- jap bikes will be going on forever and ever..just like ford -vs- chevy and bud -vs-miller. one would not be relevant without the other. just like you see the guy on the back of a ford truck pissing on chevy and vice versa...and i have even gotten the "riders wave/honk" from a few harley guys..and been ignored by others...but we all have 1 thing in common and thats what makes us family....2/3/ or even 4 wheelers all love the enjoyment of the ride...

    just my 2 cents...

NOBEL PEACE PRIZE WINNER IS FATSO!!!!!!!!!

You can't say all Davidson riders are weenies. I toured 7000 miles in New England last summer and found almost all motorcycle riders helpful , kind and generous. But, Davidson does have the largest population of moto-posers in the brand I.D. club. Really just a result of the marketing strategy of the company. Swing a little patriotic nonsense with a history of loud twins and you are golden. So what if there are slow, ill handling, poor braking parade floats in front of you for 30 miles of the best twisties in the East. We can forgive that because they are being nationalistic and psuedo-patriotic, right? We attended the Cycle World show in Detroit. The Davidson display was perfect. It looked like the damned mall. Virtually everyone was clad in the same outfit. Like sheep. I remember when owning a H.D. was truly a sign of independence and freedom. It brought to mind a favorite quote of a Honda loving friend of mine. He said, " I want to be an individual, just like everybody else". If Davidson's are so great to ride, why do these bikes sit idle in front of taverns when we are out riding the twisties every weekend?
