been doing some service work to my 2001 honda vfr 800. have close to 35,000 miles on it. First off its not over filled with oil. its running a little crappy making a bit more noise. K&N filter is soaked, back 2 throttle bodies are wet with oil. crank case vent tube is bone dry. So whats going on here?

When you say K&N is soaked, do you mean with engine oil or filter oil ?
Is the oil on the velocity stacks rather than the T/B's ? which are below the airbox !
If yes & its filter oil, the filter was probably over oiled, last time or previously. Strangely the oil in these airboxes stays forever, as Fi does not leak petrol fumes into the airbox, so it lingers.
