Oil change in order! Checking idle, air filter too!

Major waste of money there.

 

Napa platinum filter 41356 -I am using one now, best vfr filter made usually $13-its going for $9 and holds twice the dirt as the gold filter, and using super fine syn media filtering and flows better too has a thicker shell too than most-burst strength. I all ready have the Castrol rt oil, the bike shifts very fast using it. My pipercross needs to be checked.

 

Maybe I use my peculator pure one that I all ready have- then I spend no more dough

 

I was referring to the high priced oil.

 

well its good stuff and the cheapest m2 oil there is- $7 qt when I bought it, I switch to rottela 05-40 T6 in the winter, I go get a Napa Platinum, they are only $9 right now, I use the pure one when I run some rottela-i won't run that stuff in summer. I am a perfect bean! A note on not wearing head gear, there's this kid who works on the farm-he's in the Hospital with a broken head-rode a ATV-I guess he didn't wear a helmet. I haven't spent much on the bike this year-just tires, spark plugs and oil change.:noidea:

 

I didn't see any of the posts, but considering this guy doesn't actually ride anywhere. Kind of odd to always be doing oil changes.

 

I only did one this year, it ay not need it, but I treat old girl with Platinum-the filters are on sale for $9 for I am getting two-they cost $13 each normally. I am also going to see if I can free up the idle adj so it runs at 1200+ or -100 rpm! I take pics of my oil change:snowman:

 

I rode the bike yesterday about 50 miles. that's a little more than usual.

Good grief SOW, you can't pan-fry salmon in engine oil and then wash it down with a RED wine. Has to be white, preferably a nice chardonnay.

 

I like red
