The strings that come with the OEM saddlebags, I broke one this weekend. It was missing one before. I need new ones, anyone know if we can order these or how have people gone about replacing them? What is the actual name for them?

    Thanks!

I want to say there's a thread on this already. I think you want part #2 here (Link: Spare parts). They're from the Givi V35 hard bags witch are very similar to the OE hard bags. Used to be available from TwistedThrottle.com, not sure if they still carry the replacement parts anymore. Do a search for Givi Z115R lid straps & go from there.

Mine did the same thing. I lived with it & was careful not to let the left side bag fall open when on the side stand. Depending on the angle the outer cover will hit the ground.

For a couple bucks, I could give it a whirl. The ones on the Givi site show they are now rubber?
