    Hi Ron, To answer your question,first read the owners manual on your bike. You can also do a search in the forum for" octane ". I am sure you will find many words written regarding that subject. eddie

    Another gas thread.....run away.....run away................. my owners manual on my '05 says 86 octane or higher. Not saying anything else.................nope nothing.......................really...............nope...........

    86-87 octane should be fine. Every 3000 miles, dump 12 oz. of Chevron Techron concentrate into a nearly empty tank, then fill 'er up, and ride.:thumbsup:
