Hi I just installed my Power Commander III USB and the supplied O2 Eliminators I bought from MorePowerRacing. The install was a breeze, even for me. I followed the instructions for the PCIII and disconnected the battery while installing. And of course remembered to connect the last wire to the negative pole on the battery. I removed the fairing on the left side, and located the O2 sensor connectors. The supplied eliminators was connected to the male contact (the one nearest the back of the bike). There really wasn't any other way... When I start the bike, I get an PGM-FI error light that is blinking. I spells out error 23 and 24, and according to the service manual, it refers to the "No. 1 and No. 2 O2 Sensor Heater". Why is this happening? Have I done anything wrong, or am I missing some parts? Please help! I would really like to use my bike to work tomorrow. Can I still drive it without risking anything?

Thank you for your advice. I have contacted tech support at Power Commander today. I took the bike out for a test drive, and it seems the PCIII is working. The throttle response is much smoother, but the enginge runs alot richer. I can tell by the smell from the exhaust, and the fact that the engine temp is lower than usual (and the exhaust temp is higher) I don't know is this will cause any major problems, but I rode to work today, a 10 minute drive, and will wait for an answer from the support team before I take any longer trips.
NorcalBoy... What if you only want to install the O2 sensor Eliminators and not install the PCIII? I just want to get rid of the surge, and members here say it works. Is it going to cause my onboard computer to give error messages if I do this? None of the members here ever mentioned any error messages after doing this mod. Just curious. I don't want a PCIII since I do not plan to upgrade my stock exhaust system, other than replacing the air filter with a K&N filter kit. I have asked my mechanic to also make sure he adjusts the mix (lean it or enrichen it) if it needs such with the K&N filter and the O2 Eliminators. He's of the opinion that it won't make that great a difference in the way the bike runs and said it probably won't need to be messed with. Do you recommend any remapping for my 2006 VFR with the maps on the PC webpage? I was planning on having my mechanic install them on my next service (valve adjust, air filter replaced, brakes n fluid, radiator flush and replace, oil and filter change, etc...
