I have a '94 VFR750F as well as an '84 V65 Magna and '97 ST1100. Started with a borrored V65 Sabre and '90 CBR1000F, and finally bought my first bike, an '86 VF500F. Also had an '83 VF750F for a VERY short time before buying the VFR, which was a great deal at the time because no one else wanted to buy it from teh guy due to the "high mileage." hahahaha Obviously, the VFR is the hooligan bike of the bunch, though if it weren't for the huge collector on the Magna's 4-1 header, that bike would be the hooligan bike. Great straight line machine though and really takes people by surprise.

The VFR has 72,xxx miles on her. Bought by me back in 2002 with 41,500 miles. Looking at the records, there were high mileage years, and years that were non-riding years. I changed the oil in Mar '06 because it had been in there a year, but only had 119 miles on it. Then this year, I have 2,000 miles in the last three months, and I used the ST1100 to go to TN this spring. And since the ST wound up in a lake while I was there, it looks like this summer will be another high miles year until the ST is rebuild. Ugh.

Not much by way of mods on the VFR - Corbin saddle and passenger backrest with red piping, Givi Wingrack II's and both 21L and 46L side cases, tinted windscreen, 2002 VFR mirrors to ditch the condom stock mirrors, and V&H SS2R Carbon can (though the stock one is back on until I can fix the mounting band). The SS2R gives the bike a v8 sound at about 3K RPMs as you drive by - that sound is a-ma-zing.

I decided I wanted one after my "brother" bought his and we went for a ride. Pure sex appeal in my opinion.
