I took my new to me '05 for it's wire harness recall. I asked the service guy if I could see the bike when he had all the plastics off. He agreed. I stoped out and looked the bike over and chatted with him about it. He pointed out the power comander was not working. I asked him to look into it because it was working fine before I put it away for the winter. I noticed all my plastics sitting on a lift with the side pannels on top of each other. Didn't think to much about it other than hope there is a towel or something between them. When I picked it up he said the Power Comander started working again so no charge for that. I walked away owing nothing. I though great! I look over my bike and noticed the side pannels were all scratched up. I brought it to their attention and expressed my displeasure. They agreed to buff out the scratches and see what's left. After the buffing there was one scratch that was into plastic. They never once applogized, but said they was have their paint guy fix it. I'm about to set up the appointment, but am afraid of giving them my bike again. I'm wondering if I should take the pannel off myself and bring it up to them. The bike is also running rough at low RPM's. Never did this before. I treated the gas with stabilizer. Could this be it? Could the PC3 lost it's program?

Sorry for my rant just pissed about this. I'll never be going there again.

I would let them have it. If it doesn't look right to your specifications, then have them replace it. If they refuse, then ask to talk to a district rep. Or ask another dealer in the same area, same state, to find out who the district rep is and get some contact information. Pictures, if they exist, will help prove your point.
As far as the rough idle, you can always check on the program, or check your plugs as well. Or if you can, run some or most of the gas out and fill with fresh. That may help just by doing that.
