Northwest Arkansas - March 7th Saturday Ride?

Would any of you guys from around the NW Arkansas area feel like going for a ride tomorrow? It appears the weather is going to be quite nice so I'll be out enjoying it for sure. I'm riding up to Heber Springs tomorrow afternoon with a good riding friend of mine. Seems he has a serious case of bike envy since I got my new ride last weekend, and he's looking at a new FJR1300 up there.

We most definitely need to get some folks from our neck of the woods together soon for a ride. Perhaps a weekend campout/ride kinda thing?

 

On Duty, very short leash, no-can-do.

 

I am thinking about coming down the end of the month. We have stayed in Eureka Springs and based out of there before.
Originally we were going to head down to Two Wheels Only for a Buell event but 2 of the guys can't go now so we don't really want to have to drive that far for only 2 of us.
I'll keep an eye on this and let you know as it gets closer. It all depends on the weather.

 

I'm in Platte City, just off I-29 north of the airport in KC, if you guys need a layover at some point.

 

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. We rode down through KC the first time we went and found it was worse than riding the 2-lanes. Now we just come straight down 63.
My son works Thursday 3/26 so we are thinking about leaving Friday.
My daughter had looked at Truman State and I see there are some nice roads around Kirksville. We may spend a day there before heading South.
I have to be back at work on Tuesday so we can still make a nice trip of it if we go on down to Arkansas.

 

I misread your area the first time as Northwest Iowa. However the offer still stands.

We'll meet up soon. My leash just recently got a lot longer so I'm sure I'll be experimenting with "riding when I feel like it" and "staying out past 8pm" :redface:

 

Well I didn't ride much yesterday. Decided to perform my 600 mile first service and get familiar with the service manual.

I'm ready to go today, though. I'll be out and around starting about 11 this morning. Somebody give me a shout!
