North Ga ride rescheduled

Anyone interested in getting together for a ride up in the N Ga. mountains on March 29th? This is the redo of the Joey-Dude ride that got snowed out on the 1st of March. We should be able to meet the Georgia VFR group in Clayton, Ga. and run some great roads from there. Who's in?:thumbsup:

 

Would you have a specific meeting spot? I might be up for it.

 

There's a new Ingles gas station open directly across from the Huddle House on 441. I'm trying to recruit a few guys from this area to come with me. We'll see what happens.

Matt and I are thinking of meeting up with you up in clayton. Does that sound good? Let me know when is a good time. I'd like to get something solid by at least wednesday.

 

Joey, that sounds good. It takes me a good hour and a half to get to Clayton from here. So it depends on the weather. The warmer it is the earlier i can leave. What time can you guys meet me there? I have no idea how long it takes for you.

 

From my house to clayton is about a hour and 45 minute ride. I'll take one for the team and chip in the extra 15 minutes! Where exactly is this huddle house off 441? I'll just use google maps to print out directions for me.

According to weather.com it's gonna be party cloudy but you know that it changes quite often. What I'll do is sometime saturday text you and confirm whether or not the ride's on.

All righty Matt, how about if we meet up at the turner's corner rd cafe, same place as saturday around 10 am and then you can lead us to the mysterious huddle house?

Rc24rc51, how does meeting at the huddle house around 10:30-10:45ish sound?

 

That'll work (10:30- 10:45). If you come into Clayton on 441 you'll proceed thru 2 traffic lights. Dairy Queen will be on your left at the second traffic light. The Huddle is just up the road on your left (100yds) can't miss it. Matt says he knows where it is. You may coming down 76 from the sounds of it, in which case you'll take a left on 441 (where Dairy Queen is) and The Huddle will be just up on the left. The Huddle is across the street from Ingles.

Afraid not, you gotta pay a membership due of $1,000 which coincidentally is how much I need for a new suspension. Just messing with you, yeah it's a general invite the more the merrier!

 

Man , i'm hoping the ACCU-weather forecast is ACCUrate for Sunday. The local forecasts aren't so optimistic.

I think Matt's referring to saturday. Sunday should still be on, the weather forecast calls for clouds then.

 

yea sunday still looks ok right now but saturday it will be rainning, unless the motogods change the weather like now!!
