Hello all. I'm new to this forum because, well, I just bought a '05 VFR. I'm learning a great deal about my new ride from all of you so keep up the good work.

I'm not a total nOOb to bikes though. But its been awhile. My last bike was a '94 GSX-R750 and I bought it new. Nice ride for me as a 23 year old. But not the bike for me now. I've always really liked the look of a VFR. Especially the 6th gen. From the wicked headlights to the tips of the unmistakable duals. I completely love this thing and I'm looking forward to learning from you all.

I made another post on here about the plates that come with the bike that cover the hole left by the removal of the grab bars. Mine didn't have them with it when I bought a few weeks ago. My wife won't touch this bike with a 10 foot pole  so I don't need the grab bars and I like the look of the 6th gens without the bars...so, can you guys and gals help me out with where to look besides a dealer?

Hi and [IMG] and congrats on your bike!

I wouldn't fret ordering those cover plates from a dealer....they're only like $6 each. Here's the part #'s, not sure what the different part #'s for the same part is, maybe different color or something, or maybe you need both parts.
