Hey guys, just picked up my first Veefer and Im stoked about it most definately. Its an 06 with 6K miles. Im coming from an 07 Kawi Z1000 to the 800 and I need to know if what happening is normal for these things. When in neutral and under a load, it feels like i have a dead cylinder. Ive been reading about how smoothly these bikes operate and I had to get on here and check with yall. Its just sounds and feels like something is not right, it revs quickly and seems to have adequate power, but I was expecting more from and 800. Honestly it feels like Im riding a 500. Also at low rpms, in 1st gear it wants to buck like vtwin until it hits about 3k rpms, anyone have a clue if there is anything to be worried about or is this normal for this type of bike? Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Jett

    '06 should be fuel injected.

I would start with a header temp check. Start it up from dead cold and check each header pipe to see if they all heat up right away or if you have a cold one (cold being relative term). Next, pull the plugs, check the compression, and replace with new spark plugs (checking for good sparks of course)
