Hello everybody, has anyone any experience with helmet X-lite X-801R Devil? I bought one about 1 month before and it should be the best product X-lite offers. This helmet is really very nice, light and well-equipped. Seller told me it is very comfortable and extremely quiet. First I wanted to buy SHOEI but the seller didn´t have that one I wanted and offered me X-801R saying it´s of the same qualities and maybe even better. I bought it then and at home put it on my head and set out on test run. I´m owner of 1999 VFR 800 with tour windscreen (I´m 190 cm tall) and when I turned 90 km/h (I´m from EUROPE  ) I couldn´t hear anything else but crinkly sound of wind flowing through the helmet. I shut all air holes but the unpleasant sound was nearly the same. Then came holiday and 1500 km long trip. There I found out I couldn´t stand that irritating sound and my friend had to lend me pair of ear plugs. I was really disapponted with the helmet because there was really no comfort for me in wearing it. Then I came to seller and told him I have problem with the helmet as far as noise is concerned. He told me there could be something wrong with the helmet plexiglass and that he would try to claim the helmet at the distributor. After 2 weeks of waiting sole distributor wrote me an email with information that he had not found anything wrong with the helmet and that there is probably problem with motorcycle I´m riding and particularly with windshield. I was really upset because this helmet should have been able to cope with air flowing across my windshield. Yesterday (after delivery from the seller) I tried it once more and found out that when sitting in the natural position the air is flowing directly into the plexiglass of the helmet. If I was smaller there would possibly be no problem with this noisy sound in the helmet, but with the helmet of this category I think I shouldn´t have these troubles even if I´m a little bit taller. What do you think? Is this my problem (windshield and my height) or problem of the helmet? Is there any windshield for people 190 cm high? I really don´t know what to do.... Do you think I would have the same troubles with SHOEI helmet? Riding the motorbike with this helmet on is not so enjoyable as with my 4-year old and cheap Airoh helmet. I would really appreciate any idea and experience you could give me. Thanx
