Another blessed day at the track with friends, and this time, family too! My wife and child came along to see what it was all about and offer support.

This was my first time on NJMP-Lightning and just like Two4one said its fast and fun. I think in the end I liked the track more than betarace, but I’ll let him post up his opinion (I’m sure he’ll appreciate it LOL!) He was on his 3rd gen slaying'em. betarace was spot on riding folks. V4 power!

The track is fast and flowing if you hit the lines. It’s so much different than the Thunderbolt circuit.

betarace has some pics to post up too and he and another friend test rode new Yamaha R1’s on the track. Their reviews were interesting.

Until betarace is back here’s some pics:

FWIW 2009 R1 is overrated, rode it, passed many, and saw one thrown down the track at 125MPH to the point where the road ground off the transmission cover.

a wonderful day for the V4 brigade.

sad so few of you sample the track, you would love it... really sadder that no one had the guts to come out and even watch... weak.

    ^^^^^^

    Pot stirrer:biggrin:

Both betarace and I both discussed this at length.

Outside of not having a job and eating neighborhood cats to survive. There should be no excuse to come out and at least hang with us in the pits.

We can BBQ, chat, chill and you can see what the track is all about.

Also, remember NESBA offers two free intro sessions!

That's no cost to get on the track.

    Just a thought.

if you ride a demo Yamaha, its totally free... your pristine VFR can stand by waiting for a capable rider.

Maybe they'd rather be riding?

Sounds like you guys had a great time. I enjoy Lightening a lot. Riding Lightening is as stress free as a track day gets. There are zero trouble areas unless you are totally clueless.

    What's next lads?

Looking at NJMP on Sept 21 or Oct 26 as betarace said.

And don't be trying to ruin our 'guilt trip' Two. They will be out riding! To and from the track:biggrin:

Its a nice ride to NJMP!
