    VFRchuck makes awesome replacements I don't have any but have seen them up close and personal...the quality is good enough to either paint or just leave white....BUT , since he does this as a side job it takes forever to get your plastics so if your not in a hurry...go with chuck... I plan on it as soon as I can save up the money for a full plastic replacement.. thats around seven hundred...

    If you actually have an 1896 Honda, you're the man.

    I can however understand how crashing would make you very sad indeed.

    it certainly is a steam engine,coal powered!i cant find racing coal anywhere,however i have been naughty this year.
    i dont have a car so i would like to have parts in a hurry.i was considering vintage race fairings from airtech stream lining.i think it could be a fun and slightly more affordable project.i talked with a rep yesterday,and he seemed familiar with the 1896 steam powered vfr 700f2,and its spatial relations,recommended their f1 kit which is a suzuki heron repro.i like the lines of it and i think it would be a fun head scratcher,until i could afford the cobalt stuff/it would finally arrive.any thoughts on that?please dont flame to hard,i know the classic i possess,but1.its mine.2.i plan to restore,so keep that in mind if youre a purist,whether for the sake of preserving the vfr or just loyalty to the livery.

    I have installed Chuck's plastic and it is a top shelf product . If you find yourself in the Sacramento area you can come see for yourself.

    I will have to see for myself. I may be in need of plastic depending on how my oems look after repairs. Reno here, looks like a possible spring ride is in order.

    A ride sounds good, Fredsncoma is in you hood. He can ride like the wind and is a good dude if you can get past his homosexual drag and drinking. A gen 2 guy as well. Put a ride together and I will be there.

    :vfrshorty::flame::flame::flame::flame::flame::target::target::target::target::target::target::target::helo:

    ok I'll start the flaming...who do you think you are....taking a motorcycle that you own and changing the color, plastics , body lines? your a real retard.... after all since I didn't pay for it I get to pressure you into not doing something that you want... sheeesh the nerve you have....... your a real tool.

    (do what you want as long as you don't street fighter it)

    check out the 2nd gen forum ...it has a few links to body panel replacements in stock shapes....some have the holes cut already and some are racing plastics...

    Good luck...
