newer fiberglass refit

    hey all I was woundering I have an 85 VF750F and can I retro fit 86 and up fiberglass to with out to much prob.
    I would like an updated look .
    OR has anyone made a naked 83 to 85 bike?

    ya, I was thinking the same thing. Removing the front fairing and just mounting a circle headlight. Has anyone here done this?

    I think a naked bike look could be acheived easily on 1 st gens using similar year 650 Nighthawk hardware. As far as retrofitting new fairings, I'm sure its possible, like every thing else its all about how much time &/or money your willing to invest. I can tell you 86/87 fairings are hard to come by, VFRchuck on ebay is the only one I no of that produces all the peices.

    I was thinking even easier would be just to buy a random cirlce light (H4) and fab a bracket.
