    Hi Guys

Love the Site, been reading the Forums it has helped
me make up my Mind! on what type of bike to get
    I Had a SV650 Vtwin & wanted to up gradeto a New VFR , I was worred
about handling as the SV is Very Light & Nimble, Didn't know weather to go for a Sports Bike or Compromise as a Ride Every Day to Work!! But Love to Go up the Mountains
    on Weekends..

What Do You Think Have I made the Right Choice?

the buell was like 250 gp bike.so it was extremly flickable but extremly painful with any distance.im still breaking the vfr in so i havnt really got with it yet. but it seems to handlle quite well.also it doesnt have the quricks that such a short wheelbase gives.and it has a lot more power than the buell.

Welcome Brusier. Once you get used to the weight difference, I think you will be happy with your decision. Whenever I ride my wifes SV650 I have fun,but I like my VFR much better. The SV seems like it's just too easy to ride, almost to the point of not being fun......almost.

Hi Brusier. Welcome to the group. Like jev said, once you get used to the weigth you will most likely be happy with it. I don't notice the weight much on mine, tho it has it's moments. I am very happy with my 93 and enjoy every moment on it.

Before the VFR i had a ZZR 1100 so the VFR is svelte by comparison. For it's weight it handles ok.
    :welcome:
Some pics would be nice, what colour did you get? There's a few of us from AUS here btw.

Great choice on the VFR, sport bikes are great for the twistys but the VFR is arguably the best all around bike ever made. It won't take you long to adjust to the VFR, the V-Twin I had to adjust from was 800lbs and cornered like a Ford F-150

    Welcome Brusier....

You won't be dissappointed. I'm privileged to ride a CBR1000RR6, BMWK1200S and my wife's 06 VFR on a regular basis. The Viffer more than holds its own in the company of a Super Bike and a Super Sports Tourer

Of course you have made the right choice.

However, we are a little biased....
