Just joined the site and thought it best to introduce myself. I’m a 54 year old life long motorcyclist that currently owns and rides a 77 RD400, a 04 KTM 200EXC and a 98 BMW R1100R.

Lately I have been really missing the 99 VFR800 that I bought new in 99 and sold a few years ago because it was not comfortable enough for my beat up middle aged body to tour on anymore. It was however, by far the easiest and most fun bike that I ever owned to ride fast on curvy roads. So, I am currently looking for a good deal on a low mileage 99 or 2001 VFR to add to my stable to be my day ride / sport bike.

Looking forward to using and enjoying this great resource.

Thank you for the welcome. I live just up the road from you in Kingston. The roads up hear on the north end of the peninsula aren't too bad either.

Since reading up on the various years of VFRs on this site; I am now looking for a 98 or 99. But would also take a long hard look at a nice generation four if one comes up for sale in Western Washington.

I don't know...if I were you, I might be tempted by that 97 Gen 4, they don't come much cleaner than that...
