Hi everybody, Just getting around to some maintennance work on my '01 800i that i bought last November. Coolant : should i flush the system, like the Haynes manual says, or just drain & refill? What flushing compound is recommended? Plugs: i'm considering Irridium's, anybody have experience with them? Air filter: any adnantage to using a K&N? (bike is stock except for a Jardine slip-on). And lastly, i want to replace the stock taillight bulbs with LED bulbs, who makes them, what part#, etc. thanks...
Coolant - Drain and fill / no flush chemical recommended Brake fluid - Flush complete clutch fluid - flush complete Plugs - Use what honda calls for works best Air filter - K/N best flow and filtration as long as you clean and reoil every year Light bulbs - use stock - better than $$ crap LED's Also recommended changing out your fork oil.
