OK SO I'VE OWNED MY 2003 VFR FOR A MONTH (BOUGHT IT ON 5/9/08) IT HAD 3400 MILES ON IT. SO I TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL DEALER TO HAVE A FULL SERVICE DONE AND RECALLS FIXED (ALSO THE FI LIGHT CAN ON AND WAS FLASHING A CODE OF 112) JUST SO i KNEW WHAT HAD BEEN DONE TO THE BIKE. WELL WHEN THE FI LIGHT CAME ON IT FELT LIKE IT RAN A LOT STRONGER THAN NORMAL. TOOK IT IN THEY DID THEIR THING TO IT AND NOT IT REALLY FEELS SLOW. SLOWER THAN WHEN i FIRST BOUGHT IT. THE VTEC DOESNT SEEN TO KICK IN A STRONG ESPECIALLY IN 1ST(WHEN i LEFT THE SHOP IT DIDN'T EVEN FEEL LIKE IT KICKED IN AT ALL). ANYWAY MY QUESTION IS ANY IDEAS WHY IT COULD BE ACTING THIS WAY OR IF IT IS JUST ME GETTING USED TO THE MACHINE.

    SORRY SO LONG.

    Daniel,

Do you know or have a breakdown of what the dealer did in the way of maintenance or service when you took it in? It's possible you are getting used to it, but without knowing what the dealer did, I have to leave the opinions to those with 6th gens.

by the way, your caps lock is on (or was).

yeah sorry about the caps lock everything I do at work has to have them on.
The dealer changed oil changed air cleaner checked all fluids and inspected everything. Your basic first service (so im told). As far as the recall it was the wiring harness recall. As far as the FI light they told me that a buld was shorting out which made it come on??????

    I FORGOT.
the main reason I beleive something is different i went for about 120 miles a HALF tank to about 100 miles a HALF tank (if im lucky)
