This is my first bike.. I have riden dirt bikes before but thats it. I am pretty comfortable but still learning. It needs new plastic but I got it for $300 in the condition you see it and it pulls strong all the way to red line.

$300! That's an awesome price. Fairings will be hard to find, but there are websites out there. Keep checking eBay for the fairings and you might be in luck. Have fun and I can't wait to see it all back together.

Congrats. Depending on the damage to the fairing good bike shops can fix a lot of plastics and they look new after they get sprayed. Sometimes the stuff you find off e bay is no better than what you have. Ck the local bike shops and get some recommendations on getting plastics fixed and sprayed.

The left side is basicly all gone. The right has some mild cracks. I'm not terribly worried about it right now. I found a solo cover I am going to get. I am waiting on some plastic to show up on ebay. There was some right side plastic but no left yet. Thanks

I saw the left was gone assumed you still had the pieces. You may want to try the link below and shoot them an email to put them on the look out as well. I know someone that has done business with these guys as he was fixing a salvage bike and turning it into a track bike. Good luck...

Nope, the guy who I got it from didnt put one of the bolts in there when he was riding it over to my house and caught some wind behind it and it flew off. He had no buisness being on a bike at all. When I got it he was riding with a nail in the front tire, nail and a plug in the back. The back tire was worn to the point of rubber coming off in the middle.. front was verl lop sided because he was running the tires to low on pressure. I am going to get it back pretty and take care of it and hopefully not lay it down. Thanks for the link.
