Hi! I am buying a 1983 VF750F later this week. I've been riding street bike since 1975, so the Interceptor is a bike I am familiar with. I used to work at a Honda dealer in the 1980's and our shop raced one of these in WERA. It was a lot of fun and I am very familiar with the bike, though it's been over 25 years since I've been on one or worked on one. The bike I am getting is fairly untouched/unrestored and has under 20k miles. I plan to keep it close to stock as possible, with the exception of maybe suspension upgrades. Looking forward to hanging out and learning from you all.

Welcome to the site. And welcome to the club of 83's. I think there are only a handful of us with those "old" bikes. Some here will tell you they are archaic. Of coarse they say that before they ride with a good tuned one. Afterwards they just stand and stare, thinking "how come I was always trying to catch him".:cheer2::nelson:
