Newbie needs a new shock...

I've got an 84 VF500F that's totally stock. Overall she's in great shape but the reaer shock airride won't hold air anymore. Does anybody familiar with this and know a fix for it or where I can get a replacement that won't cost me half of what I paid for the bike...lol

 

best thing to do is to replace the shock alltogether, pick up a cbr shock and send it to jamie daugherty. Daugherty Motorsports - Motorcycle Suspension Performance and Modification
let him do his thing. just check around for one of matt1986 , his posts. hope this helps.

 

yes the CBR F4I shock is one of the better mods you can do to your bike! one can be had off flebay for next to nothing.
