Hello everyone ! been doing a lot of reading here in the last week and what a great site ! i had a vf 500 about 17 years ago and i remember it as being a really fun bike to ride , . all paperwork from the day of purchase , all service records , dealer papers , brochure , the recall paperwork for the crank issue and all paperwork showing the work being completed by Honda . it was ran very little throughout the years . he kept it inside in a climate controlled environment . it runs great but it did have some carb issues with leaking bowl gaskets and the o rings so i pulled the carbs and went through them and replaced all gaskets and o rings and also got a new set of carb boots . not sure if i should ride or put it on display in my house ? :biggrin:
