hello all, my name is max from tampa, have an '86 vfr700f that i have had for about five years now, which i love. But I must admit, I was that jerk who let it sit for two years when it wouldnt startuke: I know, all it needed was a good carb cleaning, and I was to lazy to figure out how to do it! So on my vacation last month, I got brave and ripped the carbs off PITA! cleaned em out, and Voila! back on the road. Now i wish i would have found this forum before learning all my lessons through the wonderful world of trial and error! So I am a complete newb in regards to bike mechanics, and I have come here to ask my newbish questions, please forgive me! lol! pics will come soon (be warned she is rough)
