Performing my newbie duty and saying hello. Been riding a 599 for 8 years and just about to purchase a 2007 VFR. So I'll be on here creeping around. There must be something comfortable about VFR's, as most of them have high miles on them, compared to most sport bikes. I ride the twisties in southern Ohio mostly and ride the Fontana/Deals gap/dragons tail/Cherohala/ area once a year.
Yup. I find them comfortable enough fo this really old fugger to do 8000 mile 5 week rides. I iaven't heard many complain too much about the comfort except for maybe people speaking of sore wrists. Easu solution to that is heli risers. AMany complain about the factory seats and the preference is the Sergent seat. I have the Sergent and to be quite honest with you, I did not notice a big difference between that and the stock Welcome to the site mate. Post up pix soon as you aquire said bike. BTW. My 06 has 189,000 km (117,500 miles) give or take. I have put every single mile on that bike, or have ridden another right next to it while someone else rode mine. So yes. I can say it is comfortable with a certain degree of authority.
