Hey folks, just picked up my first street bike, just in time for winter! It's a 2004 VFR 800 ABS, I've always loved the VFR, super excited to finally own one for myself

Hey Kyle, welcome to the site. I want to grab a couple guys from this side of the straight and do an over nighter on the island. The Gold River Highwasy would be a good one for about 1/2 hour or so. Too bad they will not pave that Thasis Highway cause that would be orgasmic. A couple years back we did the Vic/Port Renfrew/Lake Cowichan/Duncan and back ride. One of the guys hit some gravel on a corner and ended in the ditch. Banged up his hand pretty good and a long time healing. I think his 06 was salvageable but he hasn't been around here for a long time.

 

Hmmmmm. That photo looks like a mirror image. Swing arm is on the wrong side. Is that an European or Australian bike? Reggie! You broke the damned thing. What a way to welcome a newby

Never mind Reg. I will drink some scotch then look again using my make-up mirror and see if I recognize it then.

Thanks for the reply guys, the bike is stock, ill get some goodies on it over the winter, I prolly won't insure it till feb or march, and yea, always down for a group ride!
