I've actully had my bike for almost a year. I bought a 1998 last summer and am loving it. I have wanted a VFR for years but never got around to it. I originally was looking for an older model but this deal was too sweet to pas up. Look forward to meeting some of you. I live in Cedar Crest, NM. You know, the Sandia Crest Road.....I'm sure a few of you have ridden it I hear you all fly by my house every weekend.

Also could use some tips about mods. I think this bike is pretty stock. I'd like to see some other bikes for all thos cool Farkles....

Anywho, see ya on the road....Shiny side up Please!!

Hi DD. Welcome to the group. There are many threads concerning mods. Some get a Sargent (sp) or Corbin seat, windcreen, bar risers, etc.

    Welcome DD
I'm over on the west side of ABQ and work on the base. How's the road up to the crest looking? Haven't had a chance to make to make it up there yet this year.

Thanks Guys. The Crest Road is in o.k. shape but I always recommend going up and down once for some recon before flying up again. There is always some random scrub patch on the road somwhere. Oh and bring your radar detector. The sheriff is quite unpredictable......
