Hello all. I just got a 97 vfr with 23k on it. I am really looking forward to doing some long rides in the mtns. in the near future. I've owned a magna v45, a virago,2 klx 400s, cbr600,zx6,tl1000s,and now a VFR. I'm not quite ready to give up my klr, but can save it for the gravel roads. I've read lots of reviews and talked to a few guys that own VFR's, and I really hope the bike will live up to it's reputation for dependability. I can't believe how comfortable this bike feels.
I'm in Creedmoor N.C.(near RTP). If anybody is in the area and wants to ride, drop me an email at r.varn@yahoo.com.

Welcome to the World of VFR.

I have had mine since Febuary.

9,000 miles later and still happy.

Not sure where u work but some of us are getting together for lunch on Monday the 15th in Garner.

Can't ride this Saturday but I am free most weekends.

I was thinking about making a ride down to the Coast before winter got here.

Maybe we could gather all these VFR's up for a run somewhere.

I am in the thriving metropolis of Creedmoor  I always list my location as RTP area because most people don't know where Creedmoor is.

Yeah, It's only about 3 miles by 3 miles, but it is a nice quiet community to live in. The crime rate is extremely low, the traffic is fairly light, 15 min. to Durham or Raleigh.
