    Hello everyone,
Just moved to Tokyo last month and decided to get a new VFR1200DCT (domestic model). It should be ready by the end of next week! Can't wait

Far out!!!! You need to go to the Ueno section of Tokyo, thats where all the bike stores are. Its right after Aki-Abara which is the subway stop for hi-fi nirvana.

Ueno is dead, dried up. Was there a month ago and there isn't much left, just a couple small mech shops and a couple accessory stores. Not even worth the time to visit.

FWIW: it's Akihabara, aka Electric Town

Thanks for the warm welcome. Tokyo is quite a challenge to ride on a large bike, especially after spending 3 years in the Australian bush! Here no kangoroos or wombats on the road but people, push bikes and of course loads of delivery trucks and taxis! It's a jungle out there but somehow it just works. I'm looking forward to explore some of those twisities in the Japan Alps (might have to wait for Spring to do that). We'll definitely post some photos!
