So I brought home my new 98 VFR 800 after driving 22 hours over a 36 hour period. So exhausted, but soooo excited. I'll start a new thread with pcs once I load them up.

    Some questions....

    1. Has anyone installed the rear grab handles with the rear cowl at t same time?
    2. And can you get the rear grab handles? Can't find them anywhere online.
    3. Exhaust baffle, the bike has a Staintune exhaust why sounds awesome, but might be too loud. Does anyone have a baffles that they no longer need?

That is all I can think of now, so tired, must sleep

May you awaken refreshed and go for a ride. Most of us Canadians will still be waiting for the snow to melt for a few weeks at least before we can pull our bikes out of our respective methods of winter solitude, but hopefully you are unaffected by this sad situation. Have fun and I'm sure you will enjoy.

Personal opinion here, find the grab handles used. You'll save at least 50%. The people who sell them never use them, so they are usually pristine.

Stock Staintunes are not really that loud. Maybe slightly louder than OEM. I have followed a few different gens of VFR with them on and can't say the difference was great. So maybe yours have been modified. If I had a little dispensable income right now, a new set of Staintunes would soon be appropriately attached to my ride.

I got the baffles that not used but I am across the pond from you.
If you can fly me over I can bring them to you personally and visit Nemo as well

Hey good idea Long. And I promise to bring a set of brand new, never used grab handles.

Wow, that would bethe ultimate road trip!!

Unfortunately I can't ride the bike for another 2 months (license restrictions), so will be using this time to clean her up, do some maintenance, go over electrics and do some mods too.

What's a licence? If they are good, I will go out and get one too.
