Well this is very late but I figured it's time to post an intro so I can start contributing to the 8th gen thread. Picked her up back in September; traded in the CBR500R. Got a great price of $8700. Use it for commuting and weekend rides; I commute about 500 miles a week to work so the miles have been racking up quickly as I'm currently at 7500 miles since September. Love the bike and it was a perfect upgrade for me.

    Mods so far:
    Powerbronze Windscreen
    GPR Powercross exhaust
    VFR tankpad
PC V & Air intake (install next weekend w/ dyno numbers)

Welcome aboard! I love that pearl white on the VFR800.

Not a fan of the look of the GPR exhaust, looks like an old school megaphone style - but it's all in the eye of beholder I suppose. :)

I'm looking at the RapidBike module over the PC-V ... I'm reading a lot of great things about it.

I agree the looks aren't great but it's small and exposes more wheel plus it sounds great.

Hadn't heard of the RapidBike module. Too late for me now...

Yes, this was in the San Tan Mts. I'm located in Gilbert.

I'm down for a ride, I hear Mt. Lemon is a really nice ride.

    Nice looking ride.
Mt Lemon is a very nice ride indeed, I'd like to go ride it again.
I stayed at my friend's in the Catalina Foothills near Catalina State park. On the way home I enjoyed riding Az 77 through a see of saguaros and took a look at the copper mine. I really like looking at the superstition mountains and Tonto Basin in the Tonto National Forest.

AZ-77 is a nice ride. I've ridden that rode several times because there's no traffic, no cops, roads are in great condition and nice curves/scenery.
