Mixed thoughts on the new VFR 800 Interceptor. I'll be seeing one in person in a couple of weeks at the TO Motorcycle Show, but my first thought was that the bike looks like it has a lot of Chinese components in it, esp. the front suspension and the fairing. Probably too early for anyone to know where the parts are from or where it's assembled, but I'm hoping it's authentic Japanese quality through and through! Not passing judgement yet!
It reminds me a bit of the Kawasaki Ninja 650 or 1000 in shape.

There are already several post regarding the 2014 but I'll go ahead and post here too. I think the bike is nice looking and has a few items of what was asked for or what most have done to their current VFRs i.e. Multi spoke rear wheel, de-linked brakes, adjustable front forks (rebound), LED lighting, but of course not everything i.e. Fully adjustable USD forks, Gear driven cams again, more HP, more weight savings. Personally I feel this is just a slight evolutionary design of the VFR800, and not a revolutionary design. Still if this version was available when I bought my '09, I would have purchased it.

    Cheers
