Hello, My name is Joseph. I'm from the Chattanooga Tn area.

I am 22, Diesel mechanics student ( doing auto body after i get certified + fabrication )

would like to see who all lives near or within reasonable distance.

Rode dirt bikes tri's and quads as a young teen and child, got into Nissan sports cars from the 80's and

    90's and got a s-13d i had for 5 years and sold , picked up my new project a 1985 vf700f inty =) 46,606

miles strong starter , and had to have no warranty work preformed. ( paid only 300 bucks )((little rash on sides ))

Engine turns over strong and no clunky noises

so far I've filled in cracks on the plastics, painted things silver ( going to go Silver red blue )

gotten the gas tank de-rusted and professionally lined

all pinholes and holes brazed or welded. bought new starter relay ( installed it ) new battery,

I need a new petcock assembly ( the radiator shop guy left them in acid to long it looks like with holes and missing parts )

also need to get a new fuel lid ( mine the key wont turn it all the way takes like 5 min to unlock )

Need to buy carb kits since im taking to shop for carb rebuild and a new oem airfilter ( any suggestions ? )

Has new iridium plugs, Need to get new plug wires. (suggestions)

Bought new(to me) rear brake rotor, need to get pads ( suggestions? )

Was Shi* primer blue when i got it

    Seat is very comfy

Paid 300 dollars for it came with new front tire (installed),

New rear tire ( need to install )

New fork springs(installed(need new duster seals)

has original Honda service manual (official 83-85 700f-1000f )

Going to get an Oiler kit

was in primer blue when i got it binged up

So far i have sanded things down repaired as much as i could filled in the gas tank dents with filler and painted the plastics and gas tank a silver/chrome look until i get it professionally done .

Then the 1st week of august I'm going to have the carbs taken apart and cleaned up real nice like =) at a local shop they guy will do it all for 160 from there i need to find a place to mount the front turn signals ( the brackets are gone )

from there i will diagnose any other problems she has 46k on her oil is nice and clean i think mechanically it was taken care of ( going to add an oil-er kit ) the engine turns over no weird noises when cranking thank god

as soon as i get my camera back i will take nice pictures for you to laugh at.

eventually i would like to rebuild the engine but that will have to wait until after i get another bike.

any welcomes comments tips recomendations or if you want to come help tinker on it hit me up =) i can allways grill some lamb or steak
