Been riding for 40+ years on lots of different types and styles of bikes. I recently bought a 95 VFR. I really like this machine!!!
Several years ago I bought an older Honda 700 Sabre, really enjoyed the performance and that musical exhaust note. I was not, however pleased with the handling. It seemed to have a hinge in the middle somewhere...
The VFR has all the +'s and none of the -'s of the old Sabre, plus it has with the gear driven cams an even more musical sound.
I seem to trade bikes pretty often in a search for nirvana on two wheels, I guess what I should do is have more than one as no 1 bike can really do it all...
This sight seems to be a great resource...keep up the good work.

You might end up keeping the VFR longer than average. Welcome to the club. I kind of happened on the VFR accidentally. The more I ride it, the more I like it. I didn't know much about the bike, but I have learned a lot and discovered a cameraderie(sp?) I had never experienced before in vfrworld.

Welcome to the group. I agree with reg in that you might keep the VFR longer than average. I also think you will find that the VFR can do many things. It has been described as a bike that "can do it all", with the exception of off roading and it might even do that with the right rider. Glat ot hear you are enjoying and we wish you many wonderful miles and trips.

    95 VFR is great!

Everytime that I decide to sell my 95, I ride it and remember why I got it in the first place! I'll bet that you will love it.....Reg is right, you may keep this one a while!(spoken by a rider of almost 40 years).
