I have a 1986 vfr700f with 9,402 original miles bike was stored in a garage for about 15 years (took me almost ten years to buy it) been working on it since sept. 2011 on and off still have issue with rusty tank . I have 62 miles on it now and i was wondering what should I ask for it, things are getting a little tight. I will get pics up tomorrow

Many Factors involved: Location, Condition Mechanically & Cosmedically, Color, Where & how you advertise it, & how badly you want it gone.

If I tried for 10 years to buy a particular bike, It would NEVER be for sale, But thats ME! Good Luck to you.

Tank has been cleaned, keeping it full with gas for the time being. Any suggestions on how to have it sealed. is it something that i can do myself or do i have to have it serviced and where can you have that done. So far no one in my area will do it because of the screen inside the tank and there was also something else possibly to do with the petcock.

If its CLEANED and theres little pitting its a non-issue. Keep it full of gas.
