Hello All, I bought a 2004 Asphalt Black VFR last week and I finally realize why I have heard nothing but praise for VFR's and what I have been missing. I've been riding for 20 years and have previously owned a CBR 1000 Hurricane and a Buell S3T, but I am now singing the praises of the VFR. This is easily one of the most comfortable and fun to ride bikes I have ever owned. Wow.....
I'm glad your happy with your purchase. It's a fantastic bike that is very capable, obviously you've figured that out. Enjoy it for ALL that it can do, congrats and welcome.
WELCOME! If you think that VFR is comfortable now, just wait until you get an after market seat! Come on in, kick your shoes off, grab a beer and have fun. there area lot of great people on this site (as well as a few stinkers too.. :bs::biggrin
Thanks for the welcome people.... Derstuka; I'm located in Beautiful South Prairie, Washington - find Mt Rainier, look a little to the NW and you've found South Prairie....a place with plenty of quick access to mountainous back roads...in one of the prettiest states in the union.... SS; Bike came with a Corbin Gunslinger....and yes it is comfortable, she's well equipped with the Corbin, Pazzo Adj levers, 2 Bros Ti Exhaust, Helibars, heated grips, silver star headlamps, 2 teeth up on the rear sprocket and a speedo healer. This should be a long and fun relationship......
Welcome aboard. We have a fairly good representation in the PNW. You should have some other VFRs to ride along with.
Welcome to the boards and vfw ownership, always great to see another PNW rider. Hope to see you around!
