As of today, I am the proud owner of a '94 VFR. I'm looking forward to riding this machine as much as possible. On my first ride, taking my new beauty to her new home, I glanced at the speedo and noticed I was going 80 mph. This is not an unusual speed for the highway. However, the grace and comfort afforded by the VFR was a surprise. I'm sure 100+ would be just as smooth. I'm in trouble, arn't I?

    Welcome!
    I'd agree, your in trouble.
I currently own 3 and love each and every one of them. I just added a 1996VFR750 in June & that has become my primary bike so I don't ride the 83 or the 86 to often any more.
    Enjoy the ride.

Oh yeah, 100mph is just as smooth as is 130 as is 150.

    Good luck,

I actually think one of the biggest drawbacks to the VFR is how smooth it is at speed. This particular trait of the VFR has led to my conversing with the area LEO's on more than one occasion. There is only so many times you can use the, "I didn't realize I was going that fast" excuse before your turn is up.

My bike is rock solid at 100mph.

    KC-10 FE out...

Thanks for the warm welcome. I bought the VFR after selling a '72 Yamaha DS7 (RD250). The linear power delivery and abundence of low end torque are nice changes compared to the peakiness of a 2-stroke twin. Hopefully I'll get some pics up in the next few days.
